报告人简介：

王大刚，中山大学地理科学与规划学院教授，博士生导师，研究方向包括：陆地过程模拟，陆地-大气的交互作用，极端气候，水文气象预测。主持2项国家基金委面上项目，发表近20篇英文期刊论文，2017年在Nature Climate Change发表关于极端降水的学术论文。他曾担任Hydrology and Earth System Sciences, Journal of Hydrology，Science of the Total Environment，International Journal of Climatology, Geophysical Research Letters 等多个国际期刊的审稿人。他目前担任Data-driven Climate Sciences的编委，以及Journal of Meteorological Research-LDAS专刊客座编辑。
