Department of Geography and Spatial Information Technology:

The department now has 1 undergraduate major in: Human Geography and Urban-rural Planning (Sino-French program).

Human Geography and Urban-rural Planning (Sino-French program): Human Geography and Urban-rural Planning, formerly a key major of Ningbo, is now one of the three undergraduate majors approved by the Ministry of Education and jointly operated by Ningbo University and University of Angers. By sharing the excellent faculty of both parties, it aims to cultivate highly qualified international interdisciplinary professionals with basic theories, skills and knowledge, for engaging in the research on the coordination among urban and rural construction, coastal zone resources and environment, and economic and social systems, as well as the application of relevant planning technologies.
