Typhoon Muifa, the 12th typhoon this year, intensified into a strong typhoon on Tuesday as it barrelled towards the twin port cities of Ningbo and Zhoushan. The storm is forecast to make landfall on the coastline between Sanmen, Taizhou and Zhoushan, Zhejiang Province as a severe Typhoon on Wednesday afternoon, September 14, 2022. Muifa will bring torrential rains and gale-force winds as it sweeps through eastern and southern coastal areas, including Ningbo, Zhoushan and Taizhou.

East China's Zhejiang province has upgraded its typhoon emergency response to Level I, the highest, as Muifa moves closer.

Ningbo University has updated a notice that all offline courses will be adjusted to online courses on Wednesday, September 14, 2022.

All international students at NBU are requested not to go out during the period and pay attention to your personal safety.
