Hospitals

Ningbo University has school hospitals to facilitate students to get medicine and see a doctor.

Main Campus: Main campus school hospital is opposite to the east gate.

Nearby Hospitals

In addition, there are some hospitals nearby, which can meet the higher medical needs.

The First Affiliated Hospital of Ningbo University (Near Main Campus)

Address: No. 247 Renmin Road, Jiangbei District, Ningbo City.

Take metro line 2 to Waitan Bridge Station 外滩大桥站 (Exit D), around 30 minutes.

Beilun District People's Hospital (Near Meishan Campus)

Address: No. 1288 Lushan East Road, Beilun District, Ningbo City

Take public bus line 1 to Beilun District People's Hospital Station 北仑人民医院西, around 45 minutes.

Campus Security

Campus 110 Service Center is established by the Security Department for the convenience of teachers and students by improving service efficiency and work quality. It provides alarm, policy consultation, household registration management, certificate handling and other services.

Cinema

Main Campus: Ningbo University Linxingqin Hall will play movies every Friday night, it ranges from domestic to foreign popular movies. The price is about ten yuan. The auditorium is the same as the general cinema, it supports 3D, you can buy the tickets online and offline. You may follow the WeChat official account "Zhejiang Campus Cinema" or "Student Tickets" for buying tickets online.

Meishan Campu: Meishan Campus Yeyuanyuqing Hall is more than capable of accommodating hundreds of students at a time for movies. You may follow the WeChat official account "Meishan Bailushuo" for the updated movies information.

Banks

Students can go for banking services at banks around Ningbo University. ICBC is the university’s recommended choice of bank.

Main Campus: ICBC branch near  main campus is located in Yunchuang Small Town, five minutes’ walk from the east gate.

Meishan Campus: ICBC branch near Meishan campus is located two stops away by bus. You may take public bus Line 1 to bus stop "Meishan Bonded Port area Administrative Committee"(梅山保税港区管委会), roughly 6 minutes away.

ATM

In addition, Ningbo University has a number of ATMs to facilitate students to withdraw money.

Main campus ATMs are located at:

① Anzhong Building Parking Lot, East Campus.

② Trade Street, Yongjiang Campus.

Meishan campus has an ATM located in between the first and second canteen.

Washing Machines

Ningbo University has installed public washing machines and dryers in each dormitory, which is convenient for students to wash their clothes daily. You can also use the dryer to solve the problem that clothes cannot be dried all year round.

You can use the machines by scanning the QR code on the machines using WeChat or Alipay, or you can install the washing machine APP (海狸洗衣).

Super Washing

→ 55 minutes (3/4 barrels) for 5 yuan.

Ordinary Washing

→ 45 minutes (2/3 barrels) for 4 yuan.

Small Item Washing

→ 30 minutes (1/2 barrels) for 3 yuan.

Showers

Yangguang International Student Hostel and Meishan International Student Dormitory have shower cubicle in each room. The water charge for bathing is deducted directly from the balance of the campus card, which is more convenient.

Yangguang International Student Hostel has 24-hour hot water supply. Hot water supply time in Meishan International Student Dormitory is from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and from 16:00 p.m. to 22:30 p.m. The hot water supply time in winter is subject to notification.

Drinking Water

Students can drink water from water dispenser on each floor of the dormitory. Water dispenser provides cold and hot water. You can get the water by scanning the QR code using WeChat or Alipay. Cold water costs 0.35 yuan per litre and hot water costs 0.4 yuan per litre.
